See Only Unique Ad Copies with SEMrush!
March 31, 2014
Many SEMrush customers will notice that something has changed under the Advertising Research section. Indeed, the new Ads copies tab (1) has replaced Ads texts. What does this mean for SEMrush users?
In the new report, you will find only unique Ads copies. No duplicate ads will be displayed.
Every unique copy is followed by the number of keywords (2) that trigger the ad in paid search results. All ads for a given domain are sorted by the number of keywords bid on in descending order (3).
With the Ads copies report’s filters (4), you can include or exclude results by the Ad Title, AdCopy or Visible URL that begin or end with a specific keyword, or contain an exact match of a specified term or its variations.
For now, the data in the report are only displayed for the current month. Historical data will be available in the following months.
Data and filters are also available via SEMrush API with the Unique Ads Report (domain_adwords_unique).
